Environmental and Agricultural Dispute Resolution

The Environmental Mediation Center (EMC) was established to design and administer environmental and agricultural dispute resolution programs. The EMC works with local, regional, state, and federal governmental agencies, communities, corporations, and non-profit organizations to resolve conflicts. The EMC is a part of the New England Environmental Policy Center (NEEPC), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to environmental dispute resolution and collaborative research.

The EMC administers the Vermont Agricultural Mediation Program (VTAMP), the official United States Department of Agriculture certified agricultural mediation program for Vermont. For more information about the Vermont Agricultural Mediation Program click here.
